The Eve of the Eve of the Eve.

Jarid was not an easy person to buy a gift for this Christmas.  Every time I asked him for ideas, he would either tell me he would think about it, or say things like, “I don’t need or want anything, as long as I have you”… UGH. Lame! Just kidding.  I eat.that.stuff.up.  I had gathered up a few things that I know he likes as small gifts, but for his “big gift”, I was left empty-handed.  That’s when I knew I had to get what I’d hoped to buy him for awhile…

Sixth row tickets to watch the Washington Redskins play the Dallas Cowboys at FedEx Field in Maryland.  The game just so happened to be on December 22, 2013.  Yes.  This past Sunday (aka Christmas Eve Eve Eve).  Since the game was before Christmas, I had to tell him obviously, and I’m pretty sure he may have questioned a $$$ charge on our credit card statement.  Needless to say, he was thrilled!

Obviously all of these pictures were not my own, but a few are!  God truly blessed us with a great trip.  We were nervous because it was supposed to rain all day there, but God pulled through and held it off for us!  Another blessing He gave us, was that EACH of the Cowboys’ touchdowns just happened to be right in front of our faces!

See, we were right behind one of the goal posts, so had they scored at the other end of the field, we wouldn’t have had been able to see the details as well… but MAN, we were right up in the action!  Last but certainly not least, God blessed us with a COWBOYS WIN!  I can’t tell you how much fun it was to see Jarid’s face light up when the Cowboys came to our end of the field for the first time… seeing his favorite player in action just 20 yards in front of us was priceless!  Dez Bryant, Tony Romo, Miles Austin, etc.

Thank you LORD for the amazing way you’ve provided for us, above and beyond our wildest dreams.  One more thing to cross off the “bucket list” before we start trying for babies! :D
